Hydraulic PPGI/PPGL Sheet Bending Machine
A hydraulic bending machine primarily comprises a support structure, a worktable, and a clamping plate. The worktable, which is securely positioned on top of the support, is an assembly of a base and a pressing plate. These components work in tandem to form the core working area of the machine. The base is ingeniously connected to the clamping plate via a hinge, enabling a pivotal movement that is essential for the clamping operation.
The base itself has a sophisticated internal construction, consisting of a housing, a coil, and a cover plate. The coil, a crucial element for the clamping mechanism, is precisely placed within the recess of the housing. This recess is then sealed with a cover plate, providing protection and ensuring the proper alignment of the coil.
During operation, an electric current is passed through the wires connected to the coil. Once energized, the coil generates a powerful electromagnetic field that exerts an attractive force on the pressing plate. This electromagnetic force effectively clamps thin plates firmly between the pressing plate and the base, creating a stable and secure working environment.
One of the significant advantages of using electromagnetic force for clamping is the flexibility it offers in workpiece design. The pressing plate can be customized to meet a wide range of specifications and requirements of different work pieces. Additionally, this clamping method allows for the processing of workpieces with side walls, expanding the machine’s capabilities and versatility in various manufacturing applications.
