The Advantageous Price Quality Automatic C Channel Steel Profile Purlin Roll Forming Machine, also known as the C-shaped steel cold bending forming unit, is an automated assembly line equipment specifically designed to gradually bend cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel coils into a “C” – shaped cross-section through multiple continuous cold bending rolls.
It usually consists of six parts: feeding and unwinding machine, leveling device, hydraulic punching/cutting device, cold bending forming host, electrical control system, and finished product discharge bracket. Just lift the steel coil onto the machine, and the equipment will automatically complete the processes of feeding the strip steel, punching the flange holes and web holes, gradually cold bending forming, and hydraulic cutting of fixed length. Standard C-shaped steel (also known as purlins) can be directly packaged and used.

Compared to traditional cutting and bending processes, the C-shaped steel machine has achieved a qualitative leap in efficiency and flexibility:
1. Cold bending forming, superior mechanical properties
The equipment adopts a progressive cold bending process, and dozens of sets of precision rollers sequentially perform plastic deformation on the steel strip. This process not only ensures the high consistency of cross-sectional dimensions, but also moderately improves the yield strength of steel through cold work hardening effect, making the processed C-shaped steel have better bending and torsional resistance, and perform better in building load-bearing.
2. Fully automatic punching, zero hole position error
Modern C-shaped steel machines come standard with a fully automatic hydraulic punching system, which can accurately punch long circular holes, circular holes, etc. on the web or flange of the steel strip according to the drawing requirements, for later bolt connections.
